Community Project Proposals
Terms and Conditions: This prize free draw* is run and promoted by Supra UK Limited registered in England and Wales (Company no.03294833) whose Registered Office address is Curo House, Green Box, Westonhall Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, B60 4AL.
‘Community Project Proposal’
A proposal put forward by the holder of a Golden Key for the purpose of benefiting the relevant community
A tangible gold metal key provided by the Company
An order placed by a UK based organisation (registered at Companies House) to purchase [an item] from the Company
‘the Close Date’
11.59pm on 30th September 2013 or at such time and date as the Company may from time to time decide
Supra UK Limited or its agents, representatives or affiliates
‘the Start Date’
12.00am on 1st June 2013
£18,000.00 or non-cash equivalent, or greater monetary value as the Company may from time to time decide
Voting Close Date
23.59pm on 31st October 2013
Voting Start Date
12.00am on 14th October 2013
In order to become eligible to receive a Golden Key you must:
1.1.1.be a UK based organisation registered at Companies House;
1.1.2 have placed at least one KeySafe Order between 1st June 2013 and 30th August 2013; and
1.1.3 retained proof of any such order(s).
This competition is open to all the Company’s business customers.
This competition excludes the Company’s employees and their families, agents, appointed representatives or anyone connected with or involved in the administration of this prize draw.
2.1 A total of 8 (eight) Golden Keys will be divided amongst 8 (eight) randomly selected KeySafe Orders. The Company reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary the number of Golden Keys.
2.2 Golden Key recipients will be selected at random and will receive competition instructions along with their KeySafe Order. Recipients of the Golden Key must contact the Company using the information provided to either confirm or decline their participation in the competition within 7 days of delivery.
2.3 The Golden Key entitlement is non–transferable and there is no cash alternative.
2.4 The Company reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw the prize entitlement of the original winner and award the Prize to a second name drawn (or subsequent names drawn as the Company determines).
2.4 Each Golden Key entitles the recipient to submit a Community Project Proposal online at www.keysafebirthday.co.uk.
3. Community Projects
3.1 Entry is limited to one Community Project Proposal per organisation.
3.2 Multiple Community Project proposals submitted from the same organisation will result in all the organisation’s submissions being declared void.
3.3 Community project submission entitlements are non-transferable.
3.4 There will be a single Prize which must be spent creating, developing and executing a community based project to be decided by a public vote. The Company reserve the right to substitute any prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value.
3.5 All Community Project Proposals must be submitted between the Start Date and the Close Date. The Company reserve the right to amend the Community Project Proposal Close Date.
3.6 All Community Project Proposals submitted after the Close Date will forfeit the opportunity for public voting.
3.7 Any Community Project Proposals submitted must produce a visible outcome, that is, an outcome which a reasonable person would consider to be evidently beneficial to the community in which the Community Project is executed.
3.8 Any proposal submitted must be capable of being started in January 2014 and be completed before 1st January 2015.
3.9 All organisations submitting a Community Project Proposal agree to participate in the PR and Marketing coverage organised and funded by Supra UK. This coverage will continue throughout the Community Project process.
3.10 All organisations submitting a proposal agree to have at least two members of staff present at the prize giving ceremony scheduled to be held on 14 th November 2013. There will be no charge for attendance (travel excluded).
3.11 By submitting a Community Project Proposal, you agree that the Company is not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever suffered or sustained in connection with this prize draw (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, income or goodwill), the use of any prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Company, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
3.12 The Prize will be as advertised by the Company and the Company reserves the right to withdraw or amend this free prize draw at any time without notice.
4.1 Public voting for the Community Project Proposals will commence on the Voting Start Date and determine on the Voting Close Date.
4.2 All members of the public are eligible to vote on the Community Project Proposals.
4.3 Votes entered after the closing date will not be counted.
4.4 The Company reserves the right to keep all voting numbers confidential.
4.5 Any votes the Company considers to be manipulative, unrepresentative, disproportionate, illegal or offensive will not be counted.
4.6 If for any reason the voting process is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the voting service provider appointed by the Company which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the voting process, then the Company reserves the right to disqualify any party who tampers with the voting process, and take any action that it deems necessary including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the voting process.
4.7 All votes will be counted and the winner announced on the 14 th November 2013. The outcome of this process is final.
4.8 The Company’s decision shall be final and legally binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into with any person. Entries which do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
4.9 In the event of a draw, names will be entered into a hat and an independent party will select the winning Community Project Proposal. The outcome of this process is final.
5.1 The Company may announce the winners by displaying the winners’ organisation, main contact name, and social media usernames on the Company’s social media.
5.2 Prize winnings will be transferred to the winning organisation within 28 days of the announcement of the winner.
5.3 The Prize cannot be added to an existing funding pot or project.
5.4 The Prize is non-transferable.
6. Boilerplate Clauses
6.1 If any of these conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and be applied to the fullest extent possible as the law may allow.
6.2 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
7. Acceptance of Terms and Condition
7.1 By entering into this competition, you agree to be bound by and accept the terms and conditions herein.
